Tomorrow is always a day away

And next week is even longer

Given a statement

Igniting hope for a future date

Is surely heart wrenching

For long you await

And for long you hope

For nothing to come along

But still you stand by

And watch time pass you by

For hope is enough

To keep the strength in your heart

To wait for a future date

A date that has existed not

A date that might not ever exist

A date that only lies in your imagination

Of what can come ahead.

And while all hope is fading

As Negativity breaches your mind

And all possibility becomes a gleam

As practicality remains unkind.

Unkind to the dream of a better tomorrow

Unkind to the ideals that remain a shore

And as my hope would seem to dwindle

Still Positivity remains in me

Even if all sanity opposes my dream

My faith stays and strengthens me

For without it my life loses color.

For without it my life loses joy.

For without it my life loses sense.

For without it I am dead
